AMD is making one of its largest bets yet on the AI infrastructure boom, announcing a partnership with Anthropic worth up to $5 billion. Under the agreement, Anthropic will deploy up to 2 gigawatts of AMD's next-generation Instinct MI450 AI GPUs, delivered through AMD's new Helios rack-scale system — a densely integrated hardware platform designed specifically for large-scale AI workloads.
